Japanese cedar pedestal -cabinet-

This pedestal is crafted from domestically sourced Japanese cedar.

The sides are finished with Uzukuri, a traditional technique that highlights the natural grain of the wood. The top is composed of cedar pieces arranged like stone pavement, and the entire piece is given an antiqued finish that evokes the look of something long exposed to the elements—a quiet presence as if it has always been there.

This version includes a small, shrine-like storage compartment with doors.
Equipped with two adjustable shelves, it is designed to accommodate a variety of uses: storing flower arranging tools, vases, exhibition leaflets, or stock items.

You can choose to display it with the opening facing forward, or place it against a wall to emphasize its  monolithic appearance.
