Japanese cedar pedestal -monolith-

This pedestal is crafted from domestically sourced Japanese cedar.

The sides feature Uzukuri finishing, a traditional technique that brings out the natural grain of the wood. The top surface is composed of cedar pieces arranged like stone pavement, evoking the look of weathered stone paths. The finish gives it an aged appearance, as if it has stood exposed to the elements for years.

This is a minimalist piece without storage functionality.
Though it has the appearance of solid wood on all sides, the interior is hollow, making it light enough to be carried by a single person.
It can also serve as a display stand or exhibition pedestal.
